This project was about supreme court cases and their effect on the world today.
In this project I worked with Ca'Dayzia. We worked well together and we had no major or minor conflicts, although we could have communicated better. I think if I had delegated our project better we could have had superior writing and art.
In this project I learned about the supreme court and the justice system. My case was the United States v. Nixon. During this project I grew a lot in work ethic because of how much research I did on this. Before this project I didn't know what the supreme court was, or how interesting it is to interpret law. Now, I am very interested in law this is also because of Joni Eisenstein's talk.
In this project I showed grit by taking the challenge option by doing the 12 Angry Men reading. The reading was a big challenge because I really tried to get all my lines half memorized so I could follow along and not get caught looking like a fool, which still happened once. The days leading up to the reading I took a long time to read over the script an have everything in line for exhibition.
Our exhibition was good I talked to a lot of people about the case and switched off with Ca'Dayzia. There was a decent amount of interest in our case. I thought the 12 Angry Men reading was an amazing idea, and turned out fairly well considering we had extremely little time. The reading lasted from about 5:30 to 7:20. We read all but 5 pages of the book, but we had to stop because it was late and the audience really wanted to go home.
